Guest blogging outreach services get your articles published on relevant websites with a link back to you, and they handle the prospecting, pitching, writing, placement and reporting for you.

The provider I'd pick first is Goldie Agency, which is my own agency, so please weigh that bias from the start.

The third-party providers I'd shortlist are Outreach Monks, Rhino Rank, OutreachZ, Linkbuilder.io, Authority Builders, Loganix and FATJOE.

This post is built around how real businesses actually use these services, because "should I buy guest posts?" is the wrong question and "what is it for in my business?" is the right one.

If you want a straight answer for your own site, book a free SEO strategy session and my team will tell you whether guest posts fit.

What Guest Blogging Outreach Services Actually Do

A guest blogging outreach service is a team that gets your expertise published on other people's websites.

The article helps that site's readers, and in return it includes a natural mention or link back to your business.

Most services run the same five jobs for you.

  • They prospect, which means building a list of relevant sites that accept contributed articles.
  • They pitch, which means finding the editor and sending a personal email with an article idea.
  • They create the content, which means writing the article or briefing a writer who knows your topic.
  • They secure the placement, which means getting the article published with a link in the body copy.
  • They report, which means sending you every live URL so you can check the work.

The reason businesses pay for this is time, because each of those jobs is slow when you do it by hand.

I know that because I did it by hand for years before I built Goldie Agency.

I started with a cryptocurrency website while I was travelling in Asia, and months of content brought zero traffic from Google until I learned link building.

Use Case 1: The Software Company That Needs Trust

Software companies sell to people who research a lot before they buy.

A guest article on a respected industry blog puts the company's thinking in front of those buyers before they ever reach the pricing page.

The best topics for this kind of business are practical how-to pieces, original data and honest comparisons of approaches.

The link matters, but the bigger win is that the company's name shows up in the places its buyers already read.

My strategy session page talks about exactly this kind of trusted-source coverage, including expert bylines, independent reviews, industry comparisons and research-led coverage.

Use Case 2: The Local Service Business

A local business doesn't need fifty guest posts on national blogs.

It needs a handful of relevant placements on sites its customers and its industry actually read.

Think of a law firm writing a plain-English guide for a regional business blog, or a dental clinic contributing to a local health resource.

One Goldie Agency case study shows a legal services client, Munten Letselschade, growing from 263 to 3,157 in traffic between June and December 2025 with a focused link building strategy, and the full case study is on the Goldie Agency homepage.

That case study is about link building in general rather than guest posts alone, and every business is different, so please don't read it as a promise.

Use Case 3: The Ecommerce Brand With A Clear Niche

An ecommerce brand can't usually pitch "buy our products" to an editor.

It can pitch useful knowledge from inside its niche, like a care guide, a buying checklist or a myth-busting piece.

The link then points at a helpful guide or category page rather than a hard sales page.

This is where a service that writes strong, niche-aware content earns its fee.

Use Case 4: The Agency That Needs Fulfilment

Agencies often sell SEO to clients and then need someone to do the outreach.

Several third-party providers on my list say on their own sites that they work with agencies, including Outreach Monks, FATJOE and Authority Builders.

Goldie Agency doesn't advertise a white-label programme on its site, so I won't claim one.

What I can say is that agencies can book a free SEO strategy session and ask my team directly whether we can fulfil outreach for their clients.

If you're on the agency side, my AI backlink building services breakdown covers the wider link-building market too.

Use Case 5: The Creator Or Personal Brand

This is the use case I live every day.

When I publish a new guide, I want people who care about the topic to see it and link to it.

In one real campaign from my agentos.guide walkthrough, I pitched a new blog post about Mixture of Agents to eight relevant SEO and content sites.

The AI-written email offered a link from a relevant post, a guest post or a mention, so the editor could pick whatever suited their site.

That flexibility is what makes outreach feel like a favour rather than a demand.

How AI Agents Change The Outreach Business

AI agents don't replace outreach, but they take away the slowest parts of it.

Here's how I run it inside my Agent OS with a tool called Hermes Outreach.

Step What the agent does What I still do
Find and enrich It turns target companies into real named people with a job title and email. I decide which kinds of sites are worth pitching.
Validate It checks every address so only deliverable emails become sendable. I review anything it flags as risky.
Brief It waits for my one or two sentences about the campaign. I write the brief in my own voice.
Write It drafts a personalised email for each prospect with their name, site and a reason. I read every draft in Gmail and fix anything that sounds off.
Send It sends a safe batch each day with a STOP line and an unsubscribe header. I reply to editors personally and build the relationship.

The Hermes Outreach Engine also skips giant companies that almost never answer a cold email, so the effort goes to sites that read their own inbox.

I built that check after my first cold campaign used guessed addresses, and nine emails bounced before the campaign got flagged and shut down.

If you want to see the same agent ideas applied to the rest of SEO, read my post on Hermes Agent for SEO.

The Rules Every Business Must Know

Guest posting is only useful if it stays inside Google's rules.

Google's Search Central blog says it does not discourage guest articles that inform users, educate another site's audience or bring awareness to your company.

The same post says the problem is when the main intent is building links at scale, with keyword-rich links, the same articles across many sites and writers who don't know the topic.

Google's spam policies list links with optimised anchor text in guest posts as an example of link spam.

They also list exchanging money for links, or for posts that contain links, as link spam.

Google says paid links are fine for advertising when they carry rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow", and its guide to qualifying outbound links says sponsored is the preferred value.

For a business owner, that means three practical things.

  • You should only publish articles that genuinely help the other site's readers.
  • You should keep anchors natural and avoid stuffing the same keyword into every link.
  • You should expect a paid placement to be marked as sponsored, and you should ask your provider how they handle that.

Where To Get Help: My Shortlist

I read each provider's own site on 15 October 2026, and I'm only repeating what they say about themselves.

I haven't hired the third-party providers, and I haven't listed any prices, because prices change and I won't guess.

Rank Provider What its own site says Business it suits
1 Goldie Agency (mine) Its site lists manual outreach with no PBNs, real backlinks on high-authority sites and niche-relevant placements. Businesses that want strategy, links and AI visibility from one team.
2 Outreach Monks It says it has run manual-only guest posting since 2017 and lets you approve every site first. Brands and agencies that want sign-off on every site.
3 Rhino Rank It says a UK team pitches site owners by hand and reports every live URL. Businesses that want an in-house team doing the work.
4 OutreachZ It offers managed guest posts covering prospecting, pitching, content, placement and reporting. Owners who want a hands-off managed service.
5 Linkbuilder.io It says it convinces industry editors to accept well-researched articles within managed campaigns. Companies that want guest posts as part of a wider plan.
6 Authority Builders It says it does real outreach to real bloggers and offers a managed option for busy agencies. Agencies and marketers who want packages.
7 Loganix It says experts can hand-select placements or you can browse its publisher database. Buyers who want to choose sites themselves.
8 FATJOE It runs blogger outreach where the post comes from the blog owner and offers white-label reporting. Agencies that resell to clients.

Goldie Agency's link building packages on our link building page include SEO-optimised articles, a dedicated account manager and access to SEO Elite Circle, and paid work is scoped after a call.

Over on Goldstar Links, we describe the skyscraper technique and a 3-layer approval process for every backlink.

If you're weighing up one provider for everything, my best backlink building service post goes deeper on that choice.

What Good Looks Like After 90 Days

You should be able to open every placement yourself and see your article on a real site with real readers.

You should see links pointing at helpful pages rather than every link aimed at one money page.

You should see a mix of plain, natural anchors rather than the same keyword repeated.

You should be able to see whether your target pages moved, and if they didn't, the provider should explain what they'll change.

No honest provider will promise rankings, a date or an income figure, and I won't either.

Questions To Ask Before You Pay

  • Can I see and approve the list of sites before you pitch?
  • Who writes the articles, and do they understand my industry?
  • Where will the link sit, and how will you choose the anchor?
  • Are any placements paid, and how will those links be marked?
  • How will you report every live URL?
  • What happens if an article is taken down?

My Verdict

Guest blogging outreach services are worth it when your business has real expertise and the articles genuinely help another site's readers.

Pick the use case that matches your business, hire a provider that lets you approve sites and shows you every link, and use AI agents to speed up the research and drafting.
