The Julian Goldie SEO Origin Story As A Business Lesson
Every business I run traces back to one website that failed.
While I was travelling in Asia, I built a cryptocurrency website and wrote content for it for months.
It got zero traffic from Google.
That failure taught me the first business lesson I ever learned in SEO, which is that content on its own doesn't move rankings.
Links do the heavy lifting.
So I learned link building, and I tested it on my own affiliate sites first.
It worked, and the rankings moved.
That's when I spotted the business opportunity.
If link building worked on my sites, other site owners would pay for it.
I started Goldie Agency completely solo, selling the one skill I'd proven on my own projects.
The lesson for any business owner is simple.
Prove a result on your own asset first, and then sell that exact result as a service.
How the agency grew from one person to 70+
Goldie Agency grew from me doing outreach on my own into a 7-figure SEO and link building agency with 70+ employees.
Today the agency offers link building, complete site audits and AI automation, and it publishes its client case studies openly on its website.
One published case study shows a legal services client growing from 263 to 3,157 monthly visitors between June and December 2025, with top-three keyword positions rising from 19 to 108.
Another shows a photography business growing from 21 to 392 monthly visitors between October 2024 and September 2025.

It's built around the skyscraper technique, which is a way of earning links by creating something better than what already ranks and pitching it to the sites that link to the weaker version.
Every backlink goes through a three-layer approval process.

In mid-2025 I made a big strategic shift.
I moved the focus from teaching SEO tactics to building AI agents that do the SEO for you.
I did it because I could see the cost of SEO work collapsing for anyone who learned to direct agents properly.
Today AI runs roughly 80% of Goldie Agency's internal operations.

What the agents actually do for SEO
The agents run the repetitive SEO work that used to need a content team.
They pull Search Console data and score the keywords worth chasing, and one live run scored 184 queries in a single pass.
They write posts from the real transcripts of my videos, so every page contains information that came from actual work.
They check each draft against a 13-step skill file that covers search intent, titles, voice, schema and calls to action.
