Hark Pro is a free personal AI agent from Hark Labs that reads your email, remembers how you work, and does real jobs like bookings and payments on its own cloud computer.
If you run a business, an agency or a creator brand, the question isn't whether it's clever.
The question is which jobs it can actually take off your plate this week, and whether you'll need to pay for them.
I tested Hark Pro on its free plan on camera, and I've read Hark's pricing page, guide and terms so you don't have to.
In this post I'll explain what Hark Pro is, how to get it running for your business, seven real jobs it can do, and which plan each job really needs.
What Is Hark Pro, In Plain English?
Hark Pro is an AI agent you talk to like a messaging app, which then goes and does the job for you.
Hark Labs calls it "the operating system for your life".
It remembers what you tell it, so it gets more useful the longer you use it.
It reads your connected email and apps, so it notices jobs before you ask.
And it has its own cloud computer, called Handoff, which signs in to websites and completes things like purchases and forms.
When I opened it for the first time, it felt like the Apple of AI agents, because the design is that clean.
It runs on the web at hark.com and in the Hark Pro apps for iOS and Android.
Who Makes Hark Pro, And What Does It Cost A Business?
Hark Pro comes from Hark Labs, Inc., a company based in San Jose, California.
It was founded by Brett Adcock, who also founded Figure and Archer Aviation, and Hark announced a $700 million funding round in May 2026.
Hark Pro launched on 6 October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly price | Usage | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hark Pro | Free | It gives you the base allowance. | It includes every feature. |
| Hark Pro² | $20 | It gives you 2x more usage. | It includes the same features. |
| Hark Pro³ | $100 | It gives you 10x more usage. | It includes the same features. |
Hark's pricing page says all features are offered in all plans and upgrading only increases usage.
That's great news for a small business, because you can test every feature without paying anything.
It also means your decision is never about features.
It's only about how much work you're going to hand it.

How To Get Hark Pro Running For Your Business In Five Minutes
Here's the quick version I'd follow as a business owner.
- Sign up at hark.com or in the Hark Pro app, using Google, Apple or your email address.
- Connect your work email first, because Hark recommends it and it's what lets Hark see your jobs.
- Check the details Hark pulls in, such as your location, and correct anything that's wrong.
- Answer its opening question with a real job you want gone this week.
- Connect the work apps you actually use, such as Slack, Notion, GitHub or LinkedIn.
- Leave your wallet until last, after you've watched it finish a few jobs.
When I connected my Gmail, Hark greeted me with, "Hi Julian. What's one thing on your plate this week I could take off?"
That's exactly the right question for a busy owner, so answer it with something real.
7 Business Jobs Hark Pro Can Handle
Here are the seven jobs I'd hand Hark Pro first, with the features that make each one work.
1. A morning briefing before your meetings
"Prep my day" checks your calendar and your inbox and builds the day's itinerary.
The example I saw said, "Your inbox is clean. Do you want me to pull in the sales numbers before your team sales meeting at 4 p.m.?"
For a founder, that's a chief of staff in one tap.
You can turn it into a scheduled task so it's waiting for you every morning.
2. Turning a messy inbox into decisions
The proactive inbox reads your emails and proposes action items.
You just say yes or no to each one.
That flips email from reading into deciding, which is where a business owner's time should go.
Action Buttons help here too, because they turn a notification into one tap, such as paying a bill or cancelling a subscription.
3. Client dinners, appointments and bookings
My first test was a booking.
I typed, "Book an Italian restaurant for Wednesday next week."
Hark asked how many people and what time, and it understood my typo'd reply of "6pm, two people".
Then it started booking one of my favourite restaurants on its own computer, and I told it to stop before it finished.
For client hospitality, that's a real time-saver, as long as you keep confirming before it commits.
4. An ecommerce dashboard on your Home screen
Panels are mini apps you build just by typing what you want.
One example Panel I saw tracked Shopify packages arriving this week.
If you sell online, that's a delivery dashboard without hiring a developer.
You can also use "Reply" on a Panel to redesign it or dig into its data, according to Hark's guide.
5. A team productivity panel
When I asked Hark for a Panel to track my productivity, it asked whether I meant meeting hours versus focus time, or to-do tasks.
It offered to connect ClickUp or Asana to power it.
That gives an agency owner a live view of where the week is going.
6. A launch or event run as a Project
Projects are dedicated threads for long-horizon work, and each one stores its own files.
A creator could run a product launch in one Project and a podcast season in another.
An agency could run each big client event in its own Project.
Another example Panel I saw tracked new podcast episodes from Apple Podcasts, which pairs nicely with a creator's content Project.
7. Travel and recurring admin on autopilot
Trip planning is where Handoff shines.
Hark can find spots to stay, write a packing list, tell you when to leave and book the flights.
For the boring admin you repeat every week, Hark's guide describes Specialties, which are multi-step workflows Hark memorises.
Pair a Specialty with a scheduled task, and the job runs without you asking each time.

Which Hark Pro Plan Each Business Job Needs
Because every plan has the same features, the right plan depends on how often you run these jobs.
Here's how I'd budget it.
| Business job | How heavy it is | Plan I'd start on |
|---|---|---|
| Morning briefing | It's a light daily job. | Free Hark Pro |
| Inbox to decisions | It's a light to medium daily job. | Free Hark Pro |
| Client bookings | It's a medium job because Handoff does the clicking. | Free, then Pro² if you book a lot |
| Ecommerce Panel | It's a light job once the Panel is built. | Free Hark Pro |
| Productivity Panel | It's a light job once the Panel is built. | Free Hark Pro |
| Launch or event Project | It's a heavy job over several weeks. | Hark Pro² at $20 a month |
| Travel and recurring admin | It's a heavy job because Handoff runs often. | Hark Pro², or Pro³ for heavy travellers |
Hark gives its own feel for the scale on the pricing page.
It says the $20 plan can get your organic produce delivered 40 times, and the $100 plan can plan 50 weddings.
Those are illustrations rather than promises, but they show you that Pro² is plenty for most owners.
If you only go over now and then, Hark's terms describe paid Top-Ups.
Automatic Top-Ups only switch on if you turn them on, and Hark's guide suggests setting a spending ceiling when you do.
Unused Top-Ups aren't refundable unless your local law gives you that right.
The Hark Pro Features Behind Those Jobs
Here's the full list of what you get on every plan, so you know what to reach for.
| Feature | What it does for a business |
|---|---|
| Chat | It's one persistent thread where you ask for anything in plain English. |
| Memory | It learns your preferences, and you can ask it to forget specific things. |
| Handoff | It signs in to websites and completes purchases, bookings and forms. |
| Home | It shows your spaces, Panels and Action Buttons, and you can even pay bills from it. |
| Panels | They turn a sentence into a mini dashboard. |
| Action Buttons | They turn a notification into one tap. |
| Projects | They keep long jobs and their files together. |
| Proactive inbox | It proposes action items from your email. |
| Side prompts and "show" | They offer quick options like "quiet this" and "close this notification", and "show" pulls items into the chat. |
| Attachments and voice | You can send files and speak to it, but it doesn't talk back. |
| Scheduled tasks | They manage every recurring job you set up in chat. |
| Specialties | They store multi-step workflows you repeat. |
| Integrations | It connects Gmail, Slack, GitHub, LinkedIn, Notion, Amazon and PayPal, plus Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. |
| Wallet | It keeps cards and passwords in the encrypted Secured by Hark vault. |
One detail I liked is that connected apps work directly inside Hark's own computer.
With Grok Bot, I often had to log in again through its computer to give it screen access.
What Hark Pro Won't Do For Your Business
I want you going in with clear eyes, so here are the limits.
- It's a personal agent, so it isn't built for a whole team or for delivering client work.
- It doesn't let you choose the AI model behind it.
- It doesn't speak back, so voice is input only.
- It can act on real accounts, so a sloppy instruction can turn into a real booking.
- It isn't the merchant of record, so refunds go through the shop or your card issuer.
- Hark says it's designing hardware, but none of that is out yet.
For money, Hark's terms say it will ask you to confirm before spending unless you tell it otherwise.
You can grant standing permission for a category of purchases, and every purchase in that category then counts as approved by you.
My advice is to keep that category small and boring, like a regular grocery order, and keep everything else on confirm.
On privacy, Hark says it will never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Its privacy policy also says it doesn't train AI models on your inputs, outputs, memory or connected account data.
Should A Business Switch To Hark Pro?
A viewer asked me whether, after Hermes, Muse, Dots, Grok, OpenBot and now Hark, the differences are big enough to set everything up from scratch again.
It's a fair question, and my answer for a business is practical.
Don't switch your whole stack for a new app.
Give Hark Pro one personal job, such as your morning briefing or your inbox, and see if it beats what you do now.
If it does, keep it for your own admin and leave your client work where it already runs well.
